Privacy policy

None. PDF Converter contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK of our own, no advertising identifier (IDFA) and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth, and there is no account system in which such details could be stored.

Because nothing is collected, the App Store listing for PDF Converter carries the “Data Not Collected” privacy label. We do not build profiles, we do not track you across apps or websites, and we sell no data to anyone, because we hold none.

All processing is performed locally on your device using Apple’s PDFKit, Vision and Core Graphics frameworks. Photos, scans, PDFs and the text extracted from them are never transmitted to us or to any third party for processing.

Documents you save are written to your device’s storage in the location you choose. The app has no iCloud container and performs no sync of its own; if you later move or share a file yourself — to Files, Photos or another app — it travels under that service’s terms, not ours.

PDF Converter requests two optional permissions, each in the moment it is needed rather than on first launch:

Camera — required only to scan paper documents. Frames are processed on the device and are not recorded or transmitted.

Photo library — required only to convert images you select into a PDF. iOS lets you grant access to selected photos rather than the whole library, and the app works normally in that mode.

Declining either permission disables only the feature that needs it. You can change your choices at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Pro subscriptions are sold through Apple’s StoreKit and the App Store. Apple processes the payment, holds the payment details and issues the receipt; we never see your card number, billing address or Apple ID.

The app receives only an anonymous entitlement from StoreKit telling it whether a subscription is currently active. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

If your device crashes while using PDF Converter, iOS may offer to share a diagnostic report with the developer. That sharing is Apple-mediated, entirely opt-in, and controlled by the “Share With App Developers” setting under Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Such reports contain stack traces and device model information. They never contain the content of your documents, images or extracted text.

PDF Converter is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, children included, because the app collects no personal data at all.

We retain nothing, so there is nothing for us to delete. Documents created with PDF Converter live in your device storage. Deleting them, or deleting the app itself, removes them under your control.

Removing the app deletes its local container, including any saved signature. Files you exported to Files, Photos or another app remain where you put them.

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and comparable laws elsewhere, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection with respect to personal data a company holds about you.

We hold no personal data about you, so there is no record to access, correct, port or erase, and no sale or sharing of personal information to opt out of. You may still write to us at the address below to confirm this in writing.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this URL with a new “last updated” date. Material changes — particularly any that would alter the “Data Not Collected” position — will also be described in the App Store release notes for the version that introduces them.
